Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: June 17, 2026

1. Overview

24 Hour Gaming respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects our community to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the equivalent notice-and-takedown provisions of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA). This policy explains how to report infringing material, how to dispute a removal, and what happens to repeat infringers.

2. Reporting Infringement (Takedown Notice)

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe material hosted on a 24HG site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  • The exact URL(s) or a clear description of where the infringing material is located on our platform
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf

Send notices to [email protected] (subject line: “DMCA Takedown”). You may also use our online takedown form or email [email protected].

3. Our Response

When we receive a valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material, and we will make a reasonable effort to notify the user who posted it, including a copy of the takedown notice. Material removed for copyright reasons is logged in our internal moderation record.

4. Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.

5. Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. Accounts that accumulate multiple valid copyright strikes may be suspended or permanently closed.

6. Misuse

Submitting a knowingly false notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability for damages. Please do not make claims unless you are confident you hold the rights involved.

7. Designated Agent & Contact

Copyright notices should be directed to our designated agent at [email protected]. You can also file notices through our online report form. For other abuse reports, use the report form, see our Content Policy, or email [email protected].
