Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: username, email address, and password (hashed)
• Profile information: display name, avatar, bio, and any other details you choose to provide
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe — we never store your full card details
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, server activity, and interaction logs
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system
• Linked accounts: when you connect Steam, Discord or Twitch, the public identifier, display name and avatar that service gives us. We never see your password for those services.
• Game data: your in-game identifiers (such as a Steam ID), match statistics, rankings, enforcement records from our Fair Play system, and recordings of matches played on our servers
• Files you upload: anything you store in the Vault or attach to posts, including game saves and clips

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services
• To process transactions and manage your account
• To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against abuse
• To generate anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the platform

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data, including files you upload to the Vault, is stored on servers we operate in Germany. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and encrypt sensitive data at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection, and DNS
• Discord — community integration and OAuth login
• Steam (Valve) — sign-in, account linking, and the public server listings
• Twitch — optional account linking for streamers
• Umami — privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics (self-hosted)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our analytics (Umami) is cookie-free and does not track individuals.

6. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Server logs and usage data are retained for up to 90 days
• Files you delete from the Vault are removed from live storage at once; copies in backups expire with the normal backup rotation
• Fair Play enforcement records are kept while the ban or restriction is in force and for as long as needed to handle appeals
• Payment records are retained as required by law (typically 7 years)
• Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where legal retention is required
• Feedback sent from an Atrium PC is deleted after 12 months

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As our infrastructure is in the EU, you have the following rights under GDPR:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Restriction — limit how we process your data
• Objection — object to data processing

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Atrium

Atrium is the operating system for gaming PCs that 24HG makes. This section is about a PC that runs it.

Weekly count. Atrium is built on Fedora. Once a week it sends one small request to the Fedora Project and to the host of one other software source, so they can count computers. It says "Atrium", the Fedora version, the edition, the processor type and roughly how old the installation is. It carries no name and no ID. It arrives from your internet address. What the receivers keep is in their own policies. Fedora publishes the totals and we read the figure for Atrium. The count is on until you switch it off: open "Privacy and reports" in the application list and press "Switch the weekly count off".

Updates. Atrium asks our update server, os.24hgaming.com, for new versions and downloads them. We count these requests each day from a log that does not hold your internet address. The requests pass Cloudflare and our servers, and this policy's rules on server logs apply.

Feedback. "Send feedback" opens a page of our site. Nothing is sent until you press Send. We store your text, up to 2,000 characters, and when you sent it. The page lists four details of your PC: the Atrium build, which of our three systems it is, the graphics card name and the memory class, such as "16 to 31 GB". They are attached only while their box is ticked. Nothing is attached that the page does not show. Signed in, you choose whether your account goes with the message. A message sent without an account cannot be answered. Your internet address is used to limit messages to three an hour. Neither it nor your browser's name is stored with the message. 24HG staff read the messages and we give them to nobody else. Like every request to our site, a message passes Cloudflare and our servers on its way, and this policy's rules on server logs apply. We delete each one after 12 months. Copies in backups expire with the normal backup rotation.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through our platform or by email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
