1. Our Commitment

24 Hour Gaming is committed to making its entire platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain every site across the 24HG ecosystem — the homepage, Social, Accounts, Store, Games, Stats, TV, and our admin tools.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549. Most of our public-facing sites are partially conformant: they meet the majority of Level AA success criteria, and we are actively closing the remaining gaps.

3. What We've Done

Recent and ongoing accessibility measures include:

  • Automated testing: we run axe-core WCAG 2.1 A/AA scans against our public apps and fix flagged violations
  • Colour contrast: a structured AA contrast sweep across the homepage, Accounts, Social, TV, Store, Games, and Stats, raising muted text and link colours to meet the 4.5:1 ratio
  • Keyboard navigation: interactive controls are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with visible focus states
  • Semantic structure: meaningful headings, landmarks, labels, and ARIA attributes for assistive technologies
  • Reduced motion: we respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting to limit non-essential animation
  • Responsive design: layouts reflow and remain usable on small screens and at increased zoom

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some user-generated content (uploads, profile media, chat) may lack text alternatives
  • A few complex, data-heavy views (live maps, replay viewers, charts) are still being improved for screen-reader use
  • Third-party embeds may not meet the same standard as content we control

We are working to address these and welcome reports that help us prioritise.

5. Feedback & Reporting

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any 24HG site, please tell us — we take these reports seriously and aim to respond within 5 business days. Include the page address and a short description of the problem.

6. Technical Information

Accessibility relies on the following technologies to work with your browser and any assistive technologies you use: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. This statement applies to sites served under 24hgaming.com and its subdomains.

7. Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is never “finished.” We continue to test, fix, and improve as we ship new features, and we review this statement as our conformance status changes.
